Yea Adamk, it's what the game is about events like these, think you're right about who blinks first, a lot is down to the 10's so I hope JS is on cue for this, me feels he will as I always believe he's a big game player and as I mentioned he seems fully focused

@blametheref Good to hear Sexton being realistic about things. Realistically Clermont were the far superior team in the RDS in 2010, and Leinster were incredibly lucky to win (with James having a mare with the boot; 5 misses or more?). However, 'realistically' Leinster are much better team now under Schmidt (especially as 2010 was a non-year with Chieka leaving)

This is going to be monumental. Both teams know each other intimately well now (with Schmidt coming from Clermont, Cotter knowing Schmidt so well, and ofcourse Hines looking to win a double of his own).

Rain is forecast in Bordeaux all week, but hopefully the Sunday will be a bit dryer, otherwise this is going to be an 80 minute dog fight, and whoever blinks first will lose out...

Wow, was just reading that Clermont haven't lost a home game in 41 matches...Also just heard Johnny Sexton on the radio and he gave Clermont sincere respect and praise, pointing out that Leinster were "lucky" to beat this great team by just 1 point and at home too, and said Leinster are going to need something extra special to win away from home against probably the top in Europe at the moment...So well played JS in the pre match build up, the feet in Leinster seem to be firmly on the ground...hope they stay there!

@froggy73 Because its such a difficult thing to do: Clermont would have to beat Leinster and Toulon in the semi's, then Ulster and Toulouse in the Finals(Four of the five best teams in Europe). Luck would be having Edinburgh and Racing metro in the Finals, in which case they would win no problem.

papachinzo: Think they were comments posted to the Loose Pass article re the story of some commentator reffering to someone as a coconut.

Mon the Leinster.

@papachinzo: I don't follow you mate. Why would it be "luck and only luck" should they win both trophees (which I do not think they will anyway). Your statement puzzles me.

First off, I have no IDEA what johanw, letsgoboks and ruckingkiwi are talking about??

Secondly: Big loss for Clermont. To be honest, as much as I respect them, I don't think they have what it takes to win both cups. It's a feat. that hasn't been done in almost ten years (Although Leinster almost did it last year...). If they do win both, It will be done on luck and luck alone.

(Double achieved: Toulouse in 2003 and the great Leicester team of 2001 and 2002)
